NEWSLETTER
These are the minutes for February 14, 2002 meeting. Our President Dorman Baker brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Sixteen club members were present at the February
meeting. Bob Middleton reported that we have $3,345.94
in the bank as of February 14, 2002. A motion was made, seconded, and
approved to accept the treasurers report as presented. The newsletter will be sent to all club members who dont have an e-mail address. Those with an e-mail address may check the newsletter on the Website and the address is <http://www.alpineaerosquadron.com> To contact Ignacio "Nacho" Barragan about the new Website on the Internet, or if you have any information you would like to be put on our Website, send the information to the following e-mail address webmaster@alpineaerosquadron.com. This is the first official newsletter that will be assigned to the Alpine Aero Squadrons Website. Everyone will be able to access our Website if they have a computer, but a special password will be needed to look at the clubs roster. The meetings will be held on the second Thursday
of each month from now on. New Business: Lock both gates when you are the last one to leave the field. When any one is flying at the field the new gate will always be closed and the old gate can be left open. Low spots will be filled when the field is oiled or resurfaced. Steve Mitchell has volunteered to become the Field Marshal and if he thinks that the field should be close due to rain or any other reason, it will be on the Squadron Website. The numbers on the Combination Lock will not be changed at this time; but will be discussed at the March meeting. The America Flag will be posted on the field.
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 PM on March 14, 2002 (Thursday) at the Kennedy Center Main Building, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 PM. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
