ALPINE AERO SQUADRON FEBRUARY 2004 NEWSLETTER
These are the minutes for February 12, 2004 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Fourteen club members were present at the February meeting. The club now has 92 members.
Bob Middleton reported that we have 2348.79 in the bank as of February 12, 2004. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented. Old Business:
The locks on the gates will be changed on February 29, 2004. If you have not received your new key, you will not have access to the flying field. Get your key now from Bob Middleton, 619-443-4791. Dont wait. There will be no further notices. New Business:
Note: Five gallons of 15% Fuel will be raffle off at the March meeting. Note: When using your Computer Transmitter to fly your favorite Model, please make sure you know what all the switches operate and the Radio is on the correct Model. Three people have crashed their Model Airplanes because they didnt take the time to check out there Radio prior to take off. efore turning your Radio on, make sure you have the correct clothespin for your Radio Frequency. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m March 11, 2004, (second Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
