ALPINE AERO SQUADRON FEBRUARY 2005 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the February 10, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Fourteen club members were present at the February meeting. The club now has 101 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $44435.92 in the bank as February 10, 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
Field will be closed on weekdays till March 2005. Tom Clark gave out some information about the club becoming incorporated; it would be a lot of paper work. A corporation may also be non-profit. We need more information on this subject if we are going to discuss this matter further.

New Business:
Subject: Web Site. The club may pay for the Web Site with a yearly automatic withdraws from the clubs checking account.

Note: Joe Macias brought in 3 collectable 2-cycle gasoline ignition Engines for race Cars.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.

Bob Davis - Fuel Cap Fittings.
Greg Cullimore - 6 Piece Precision Screwdriver Set.
Thomas Beecroft - 2 Tubes of Thick & Thin Super Glue.
Ainza Manuel - Tubing.
Mike Thomson - Lead Weights 6 oz.
Tom Clark - Exhaust Deflector.
Mark Miller - Remote Glow Plug lead.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. March 10, 2005, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day.
