ALPINE AERO SQUADRON FEBRUARY 2006 NEWSLETTER These are the minutes for the February 9, 2006 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the December meeting as read at the February meeting. Twelve club members were present at February meeting. The Club now has 61 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $4864.95 in the bank as February 9, 2006. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented.

Note: Joe Macias brought 6 ignition Engines to the Club. #1 A Vivell Twin-X2 1.20 made in 1946 by John Nuouo. #2 A Madewell .98 Twin Proto made in 1948. #3 A Atwood .60 Champion Custom made in 1936. #4 A Husky JV-19 Made in 1938. #5 A Leja Casimir 4 Cycle .99 Engine made in 1947. #6 A Proto Hornet .60 Bulge Bypass with two Spark Plugs made by Ray Snow in 1949.
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The Club spent $144.00 for the items that were
raffle at this meeting. The following members won items at the raffle. The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron
will be at 7:30 p.m. March 9, 2006, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation
Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded,
and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:46 p.m. Check your controls prior to your first
flight of the day. |
