ALPINE AERO SQUADRON FEBRUARY 2007 NEWSLETTER These are the minutes for the February 8, 2007 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Eight Club members were present at the February meeting. The Club now has 69 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $2017.66 in the bank as February 8, 2007. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented.
Old Business: Dues are payable by January 1st, 2007. Make your Check payable to Alpine Aero Squadron & mail to Mark Miller 1118 Hamlet Dr. EL Cajon, California 92021. Dues are $40.00 for the year. New Business: SPECIAL ASSOCIATION MEETING To: All Clubs, A special Association --AMA Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 15th, 2007, at 6:00 PM, at the American Legion Hall, 7815 Armour St, Kearny Mesa, Sandwiches, Chips, Goodies & Beverages will be served. A special presentation by Wes De Cou, Flying Site Assistance Coordinator, and Western Region will follow dinner. Our Host Rich Hanson, District X Vice President will update us on any AMA news and several Association changes will be covered which will be of interested to the San Diego Clubs. We are fortunate to have this presentation in San Diego, and would like a good turnout of representatives from all our clubs. held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. March 8, 2007, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA.
