These are the minutes for the February 14, 2008 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:44 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Seven Club members were present at the February meeting. The Club now has 51 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $2769.28 in the bank as February 14, 2008. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented. The Portable Toilet is now $83.79 every 28 days, so thats 13 times a year we have pay for it.
Old Business: Dues are due by December 31, 2007. The Dues are $40.00 for the whole year. Mark Miller is the Treasurer & he can be reached at the Thursday Night meeting or at the Field on Weekends. Mark Millers address is 1118 Hamlet Dr. El Cajon, Ca. 92021. His Telephone # is 619-444-0968.
New Business: Mark Miller is going to send a $90.00 Check to the AMA for insurance on the Field; we also have to send a copy of the Policy to the County. The County has notice that too many people are driving to & from the Field at a pretty good clip. The County has advised us that when driving to & from the Field we need to keep our speed at 15 miles or lower.
Note: Tom Clark & Wayne Bolin brought in their Laptop Computers with the Real Flight G3.5 program so that every one could have a chance to fly some very nice & high performance Model Airplanes while at the meeting.
Note: A raffle is held at each meeting and
the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The winners are Tom Beecroft - One
Gallon of 15% Synthetic Castor Fuel.
