ALPINE AERO SQUADRON FEBRUARY 2010 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the February 11, 2010 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. A motion was made, seconded and approved to accept the minutes of the January meeting as read at the February meeting. Thirteen Club members were present at the February meeting. The Club now has 56 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $3790.17 in the bank as of February 11, 2010. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer's report as presented.

New Business:
New instructions for the Gates. When anyone is flying at the Field, both Gates will be closed & both locks will be in the locked position. No more Turbines will allow flying at the Alpine Aero Squadron Field. We don't have the proper fire fighting equipment. Small changes will be coming to the by laws. Safety rules for the Spectrum Radios. Weedwacker Swapmeet will be March 6, 2010. Rain date will be March 13, 2010. Don Madison Cell # is (619)-549-3196; his home Phone # is (619)-296-1510. Swapmeet starts at 07:30 A. M.

Note: When anyone is flying at the Field, the inner Gate must be closed. The outer Gate should also be closed.

The last person leaving the Field will lock both Gates.

The speed limit going to & from the Field is 15-Miles Per Hour.

No more Welding permitted at the Field.

The County has informed the Club that when it rains, the Field will be closed for five days after the rain stops.

Ray Carver brought in his mystery Helicopter to the meeting. Rays Helicopter cost $140.00 with the Radio. Could not fly his Helicopter because we had the small room
