OLD BUSINESS: Tom Clark will be making a Sign telling all Truck Drivers to keep off the Runway.
New Business: Philip & Michael Christie are from the Miramar area & would like to invite some visitors to our Alpine Aero Squadron Field. They all have AMA Cards. They lost their field that was in the Miramar area. We are going to change the Key to the locks on the two gates. Each member will be require to turn his or her old key in to the Treasurer in order to received a new key. Each member will be required to have an updated AMA Card in order to fly at the field. Please place your 2006 AMA card or your badge in the pin board when you remove the clothespin that corresponds to the channel # on your transmitter. Everyone will be required to have an updated AMA Card by January 1st, 2006. Visitor can fly at the field for two days free.
Note: When flying a multi Engine Aircraft & one of your Engines quits while flying, keep the one Engine at full power until you are sure you have plenty of speed to make the field for a landing. When youre coming in short of the runway with one Engine & then you power up again your Aircraft will spin around and go into a nosedive, because there is not much wind coming across the Flight Controls at slow speed.
