ALPINE AERO SQUADRON MARCH 2007 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the March 8, 2007 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the February meeting as read at the March meeting. Five Club members were present at the March meeting. The Club now has 71members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2280.96 in the bank as March 8, 2007. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
A gentle final reminder that your 2007 annual dues were due by January 1st, 2007. Make your Check payable to Alpine Aero Squadron & mail to Mark Miller 1118 Hamlet Dr. EL Cajon, California 92021. Dues are $40.00 for the year. If you have not paid your 2007 dues, there will be no penalty. Thank you.

New Business:
The club’s runway has problems that need to be addressed this year. There is an accumulation of small clay pockets that should be removed and replaced with tar and the entire runway re-oiled in order to keep it in top condition.

Note:
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. No raffle held at the March meeting.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. April 12, 2007, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA.

A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m. Check your Flight Controls prior to your first flight of the day.
