The Engine has two Coils, two Spark Plugs & a set of Points. The Engine will run on Glow Plugs. He also brought in a small 1933 MacFarland 5 Cylinder Radial Engine which runs on compress gas or fuel to create hot compressed gas to move the piston up and down, thus cause the propeller to turn. When using flammable fuel to create compressed gas the engine would usually get very hot which would cause the Airplane to catch on fire. This Engine is also a collectable & Joe has one of the three left. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
