ALPINE AERO
SQUADRON APRIL 2008 NEWSLETTER
These are the
minutes for the April 10, 2008 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought
the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved
to accept the minutes of the March meeting as read at the April meeting.
Eleven Club members were present at the April meeting. The Club now has
55 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $2766.14 in
the bank as April 10, 2008. A motion was made, seconded, and approved
to accept the Treasurers report as presented.
Old Business:
The Club may re-oil the Field this summer. We have to remove all the Clay
Sediments, replace them with Cold Patch & find out much it will cost
us to re-oil the Field before the Club can make that decision.
New Business:
When anyone is flying at the Field the inter Gate will be closed. The
outer Gate will be also close on Weekends, but on Weekdays the Gate may
or may not be closed. If the County leaves the gate open, dont worry
about the Gate; but if we open the Gate, we will close the Gate. The last
person leaving the Field will lock both Gates. The speed limit going to
& from the Field is 15-Miles Per Hour. No more Welding permitted at
the Field.
Richard Thomass Wife has asked that the
Club drop his name from the Rooster because he has Alzheimers decease.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
