These are the minutes for May 8, 2003 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the April meeting as read at the May meeting. Thirteen club members were present at the May meeting. The club now has 76 members.

Bob Middleton reported that we have $1444.35 in the bank as of May 8, 2003. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the treasurers report as presented.

Aviation Model Magazine has an article on page 154 in the May 2003 issue, lower right corner showing what our field looked like last December when Santa Ana Winds destroyed almost every thing we had built on the field.

Swap Meet at Balboa Park will be on Saturday July 19,2003 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a. m. If any would like to donate something to the club, please bring your items to the next meeting and the Club will action off the donated items at the Swap Meet.

Ignacio Barragan will bring a large Ducted Fan Model Airplane with a Rosie 0.82 to the next meeting and he will give a little lecture on the model.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m June 12, 2003, (Second Thursday) at the Kennedy Center Main Building, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA.

A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 pm.
