ALPINE AERO SQUADRON MAY 2004 NEWSLETTER
These are the minutes for May 13, 2004 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the April meeting as read at the May meeting. Fifteen club members were present at the May meeting. The club now has 88 members.
Bob Middleton reported that we have $2822.91 in the bank as of May 13, 2004. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented. Old Business:

Joe Macias brought 9 collectable Engines in a Plexiglas case that he made from spare parts of used Engines, 4 oppose two Cylinder Engines, 1 Flat 4 Cylinder Oppose Engine, 1 three Cylinder Radial Engine, 2 Five Cylinder Radial Engines & 1 V8 Engine. All the Engines are two cycle Engines with Glow Plugs. All the Engines fire at the same time, except for the v8, which fires every 45 degrees. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m June 10, 2004, (second Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day.
