ALPINE AERO SQUADRON MAY 2005 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the May 12, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the April meeting as read at the May meeting. Sixteen club members were present at the May meeting. The Club now has 89 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $4007.60 in the bank as May 12, 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
The Club has purchased a new Weed Wacker for $140.00 with accessories.

The Annual Association Swap Meet will be held on Saturday July 9, 2005 at Balboa Park Inspiration Point Parking lot. The hours are from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The club will have a table set up at the Park & if anyone has anything they would like to donate, the club would be glad to auction off the items at the park. Bring your items to the meeting or to the flying Field. Mark Miller will store the items until the Swap Meet.

Joe Macias brought in “too little two dozen” 24 tiny ½A Engines from 0.01 to 0.12 in size.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle. Wayne Bolin - One Gallon of 15% Fuel.

Regan Schuttle - Remote Glow Plug Lead.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. June 9, 2005, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
