ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JUNE 2002 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for June 13, 2002 meeting. Our Vice resident Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the May meeting as read at the June meeting. Nine club members were present at the April meeting.

Bob Middleton reported that we have $3,714.64 in the bank as of June 13, 2002. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
When locking the gates, make sure our lock is in series so whoever opens the gates will be able to open the gates. Someone in the club locked our lock in the wrong position and when the country unlocked their lock, they locked their lock in the correct position and our lock was no longer in series. When locking the gates, take an extra minute and make sure the lock is in series.

The Fun Fly has been postponed till August or September due to many club members on vacation.

Swap meet will be held on July 20, 2002 at Balboa Park. If you have something to donate to the club that you don’t need any more, the club will accept all Model Airplane related items. Bring the items to the July 18, 2002 meeting or to the field and Regan Schutte or Mark Miller will store the items until the day of the Swap Meet.

New Business:
