ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JUNE 2006 NEWSLETTER These are the minutes for the June 8, 2006 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the May meeting as read at the June meeting. Eleven Club members were present at the June meeting. The Club now has 73 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $3817.09 in the bank as June 8, 2006. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented. Old Business: None

Note: The Annual Association Swap Meet will be held on Saturday July 8, 2006 at Balboa Park Inspiration Point Parking lot. The hours are from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The club will have a table set up at the Park & if anyone has anything they would like to donate, the club would be glad to auction off the items at the park. Bring your items to the flying Field. Mark Miller will store the items until the Swap Meet. Mark Millers Phone number is (619) 444-0968. Note: Joe Macias brought in 4 Pulse Jet Engines. Dyna Jet Red Head made in 1948 by Aero Marine Company Van Dalia, Ohio. Unknown German Pulse Jet Engine. Pulse Jet Engine made by Minnet Motors Beverly Hills, California, first production 1946. Pulse Jet Engine Mew 307 made in 1951 by Minnesota Engine works, St Paul, Minnesota.
Note: Greg Richard brought in a F18 ARF with an Electric Motor; the Plane weighs 20 ounces.
Note: A raffle is held at each meeting and
the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at
the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron
will be at 7:30 p.m. July 13, 2006, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation
Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m. Check your Flight Controls prior to your first flight of the day.
