ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JUNE 2007 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the June 14, 2007 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the May meeting as read at the June meeting. Nine Club members were present at the June meeting. The Club now has 77members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2752.21 in the bank as June 14, 2007. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
The Club may re-oil the Field this summer. We have to remove all the Clay Sediments, replace them with Cold Patch & find out much it will cost us to re-oil the Field before the Club can make that decision.

New Business:
The Float Fly at Otay Lake will only cost the Club the $100.00 to rent the Lake for one day. We need to talk to Tom Seevers and find out if the Club is going to sponsor the Float Fly this year or let some other Club sponsor this event.

Note:
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. Winners are
Bob Davis - One Gallon of Fuel 15% Nitro With 18% Synthetic/Castor Oil.
Mark Miller - One Phase 3 Eagle Electric Model Airplane.

Note:
Greg Richard brought in a small electric free flight Hang Glider that he converted it to a Radio Control Hang Glider. He installed a larger Electric Motor, a speed controller; a four-channel Receiver & one Servo that can warp the Wing so it can turn right or left.
