ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JUNE 2008 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the June 12, 2008 meeting. Our Vice President Bob Davis brought the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the May meeting as read at the June meeting. Eight Club members were present at the June meeting. The Club now has 57 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2734.49 in the bank as June 12, 2008. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
At the next meeting our President Tom Clark will advise the Club on when the Field will be re-oiled & how much it will cost.

New Business:
None

When anyone is flying at the Field, the inner Gate must be closed. The outer Gate will also be closed. The last person leaving the Field will lock both Gates. The speed limit going to & from the Field is 15-Miles Per Hour. No more Welding permitted at the Field. The Country has informed the Club that when it rains the Field will be closed for five days after the rain stops.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
