ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JULY 2005 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the July 14, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the June meeting as read at the July meeting. Ten club members were present at July meeting. The Club now has 93 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $3838.52 in the bank as July 14, 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
The Club will be oiling the field this coming August or September of this year. Up to $2000.00 has been allocated for this project. The Annual Association Swap Meet was held on Saturday July 9, 2005 at Balboa Park Inspiration Point Parking lot. The Club made $207.00 from the sale of all the items that were donated to the Club; made possible by Mark Miller, the Club’s Treasurer.

New Business:

Note: Float Fly coming in November of this year at Otay Lake.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
Wayne Bolin - One Gallon of 15% Fuel.
Howard Valentine - One Gallon of 15% Fuel.
Mark Miller - Filling Station.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. August 11, 2005, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:44 p.m.
