ALPINE AERO SQUADRON JULY 2008 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the July 10, 2008 meeting. Our President Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the June meeting as read at the July meeting. Eight Club members were present at the July meeting. The Club now has 60 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2734.49 in the bank as July 10, 2008. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
The Field has been oiled & it looks pretty good. Thanks to Tom Clark, Regan Schutte & all the other people who help get the Field ready for one coat of Oil. The Runway at the Field cost $2398.00 for one coat of oil. We need to fill the Potholes where the Pilots stand & re-oil that little section.

New Business:
None

When anyone is flying at the Field, the inner Gate must be closed. The outer Gate will also be closed. The last person leaving the Field will lock both Gates. The speed limit going to & from the Field is 15-Miles Per Hour. No more Welding permitted at the Field. The Country has informed the Club that when it rains, the Field will be closed for five days after the rain stops.

Note: A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
