Old Business:
The Swap meet at Balboa Park netted the Alpine Squadron club $86.75. Mark Miller sold all the donated items at the Swap, so let’s all give him a hardy thanks for a well done job. The club is going to buy 144 color hats, 48 Khaki Tan, 48 Navy Blue & 48 Royal Blue with Alpine Squadron logo on the front of the hat. They will cost $4.50 apiece & the club will sell the hats for $5.00.

New Business:
The Float Fly will be coming up in November at Otay Lake. We need quite a few volunteers to help run the Float Fly & make sure everything is set up by 8:00 am Sunday morning. We don’t know the date right now, but it may be the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Ron Stark has been nominated as a honorary member. Stan Skoff donated a Eagle Fifty with a 25 O S size Engine with all the radio gear to be used as a club Trainer. He also donated all his other equipment that he has to the Club.

Joe Macias brought in 3 collectable ignition Engines for Airplanes.

Tom Clark brought in his portable DVD Player to show everyone a lot of Jet Model Airplanes crashing with Turbine Engines. Some of the Airplanes caught fire when they crash into the ground. Some propeller Airplanes also were shown crashing. Many of the crashes look like the Pilot was not qualified to fly these Airplanes.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
Tom Seevers - Hobby Knife, Silicone Rubber Adapter for a Starter &. Lite Flight Wheels
