ALPINE AERO SQUADRON AUGUST 2007 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the August 9, 2007 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:46 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the July meeting as read at the August meeting. Twelve Club members were present at the August meeting. The Club now has 86 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2627.56 in the bank as August 9, 2007. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
The Club will re-oil the Field this summer. We have to remove all the Clay Sediments & replace them with Cold Patch. When everyone has finished flying on Saturday or Sunday please stay around and help remove the Clay Sediments & replace the holes will a cold patch. The Float Fly at Otay Lake will be held on November 18, 2007.

New Business:
John Emilio has requested that his name be removed from the Alpine Aero Squadron Roster. His Vision is failing & he can no longer read the News Letter or Fly Model Airplanes.

Note:
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. Winners are
Carl Diaz - One Gallon of 15% Nitro with 18% Oil.
Bob Davis - Filling Fuel Station & a Flatana Electric Model Airplane.
