ALPINE AERO SQUADRON SEPTEMBER 2004 NEWSLETTER
These are the minutes for September 9, 2004 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the August meeting as read at the September meeting. Fourteen club members were present at the September meeting. The club now has 94 members.
Bob Middleton reported that we have $2279.11 in the bank as September 9, 2004. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented. Old Business: New Business:
Joe Macias brought in 3 collectable ignition Engines for Airplanes. A very rare single cylinder 2.65 by M. L. Weiss made between 1914-1916. A rare twin cylinder 3.415 by Jim Brown made around 1914, and a single cylinder .60 with two Sparks Plugs in the Head made in 1948 by Hayward Connelly. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron
will be at 7:30 p.m. October 14, 2004, (second Thursday) at the Kennedy
Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El 8:05 Cajon, CA. A motion was
made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. Check
your controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
