ALPINE AERO SQUADRON OCTOBER 2002 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for October 10, 2002 meeting. Our Vice President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the September meeting as read at the October meeting. Twelve club members were present at the October meeting. The club now has 80 members in the Alpine Aero Squadron Club.

Bob Middleton reported that we have $2625.45 in the bank as of October 10, 2002. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the treasurer's report as presented.

Old Business
Dues are $40.00 a year and the last day to pay without a penalty is December 31, 2002.

New Business:
The Float Fly will be held on the November 24, 2002 at Otay Lake. Flying will start at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The Alpine Aero Squadron will give out $300.00 in gift certificates and other prizes from by some Hobby Shops. We need volunteers to help with the Float Fly. It will cost 10.00 for each individual to fly at Float Fly.

Board members will be nominated at the November meeting.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.

Thomas Beecroft - Epoxy Brushes, Locking Tweezers & Mixing Sticks.
John Shackelford - 6 Piece Screwdriver Set & an Iron Sock.
Mark Miller - Mix Rite Cups & Thirty Minute Epoxy.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. November 14, 2002 (Second Thursday) at the Kennedy Center Main Building, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon,

A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
