ALPINE AERO SQUADRON OCTOBER 2005 NEWSLETTER

These are the minutes for the October 13, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the September meeting as read at the October meeting. Seven club members were present at the September meeting. The Club now has 97 members.

Mark Miller reported that we have $2511.21 in the bank as October 13, 2005 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.

Old Business:
Float Fly will be held on Sunday November 20, 2005 at Otay Lake.

New Business:
Dorman Baker has been nominated to see the General Manager of Hobby People concerning prizes for the Float Fly for this November. The General Manager is only available on week days. Club dues are due by December 31st 2005; the dues are $40.00 for the whole year. We need volunteers for the Float Fly.

Note: Tom Porter has donated a BBQ to the club.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. November 10, 2005, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
