ALPINE AERO SQUADRON OCTOBER 2006 NEWSLETTER These are the minutes for the October 14, 2006 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the September meeting as read at the October meeting. Eleven Club members were present at the October meeting. The Club now has 80 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $1312.92 in the bank as October 14, 2006. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented.

Note: Joe Macias brought in five ignition Engines. One Westbury Ketral 5cc Engine made in 1937 has a special Wooden Prop. One IMP G9 0.564 Engine made in 1938. One Paul W. Lindberg 0.60 Engine made in 1940. One ATM Minor 6cc Engine made by Edgar T. Westbury was his first proto type. One Letna 6.3cc or 0.38ci made in Czech Republic by Pahr around 1937 to 1938 proto type. All these Engines are very rare.
Note: Wayne Bolin brought in the one roll of Silicone Tubing & one O.S. Glow Plug type F for a four Cycle Engine for the Raffle.

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. November 9, 2006, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the 7:55 p.m. Check your Flight Controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
