ALPINE AERO SQUADRON NOVEMBER 2005 NEWSLETTER These are the minutes for the November 10, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the October meeting as read at the November meeting. Eleven club members were present at the November meeting. The Club now has 98 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $2415.99 in the bank as November 10, 2005 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurers report as presented.

Note: Joe Macias brought 5 Engines to the Club that was made between 1940 & 1949. The displacement is .09 for each cylinder. 1. Opposed 2 cylinders, 2-cycle ignition engine. 2. Inline 2 Cylinder, 2 Cycle Ignitions Engine. 3. Opposed 4-cylinder ignition 2-cycle ignition Engine. 4. Single cylinder 2-cycle ignition Engine. 5. Opposed 6-cylinder 2 cycles glow Engine. The entire collection of the ignition Engines were made Dan Calkin. The glow Engine was made by Arne Hende of Sweden. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron
will be at 7:30 p.m. December 8, 2005, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation
Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
