New Business:
The Float Fly was a great success this Year. The day stated out with a comfortable warm sun that took the chill off our bones. The temperature rose to a nice 80 degrees until 11.00 o'clock and then some clouds cover the sky that drop the temperature to a pleasant warm 72 degrees for the rest of the day with a very slight breeze. One Model lost its engine & all of its radio gear except for one servo when it crashed straight into the water at full power.

Thank you Tom Clark for bringing your boat & Rick Denessen who used one of the boats from lake to retrieve many Model Aircraft that had to be rescue from the water. We also want to thank Dorman Baker, Thomas Beecroft, Regan Schutte, Bob Middleton, Mark Miller, Howard Valentine, Manuel Ainza & Carl Diaz for making the Float Fly a great success.

32 Pilots sign up to fly at the Float Fly. If anyone has any ideas to make the Float Fly easier for the club members that will work at the next Float Fly please come to the January meeting & express your thoughts.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m January 16, 2003, (Third Thursday) at the Kennedy Center Main Building, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. From February To December the meetings will be the second Thursday for the year 2003. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:56 pm.

Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day.
