ALPINE AERO SQUADRON DECEMBER 2003 NEWSLETTER
These are the minutes for December 11, 2003 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the minutes of the November meeting as read at the December meeting. Thirteen club members were present at the December meeting. The club now has 87 members. The club made $323.00 from the Float Fly.
Bob Middleton reported that we have 1916.62 in the bank as of December 11, 2003. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the treasurers report as presented. Old Business New Business The country may decide to laser lever the field in about two years. Joe Macias brought in three old 60-size ignition racecar engines for everyone to look at. The cars would speed around a circle on a theater line & would be clock at speeds over a hundred miles an hour, Note: The President of Alpine Aero Squadron, Tom Clark would like to wish each club member a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.
The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m January 8, 2003, (second Thursday) at the Kennedy Center Main Building, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:41 pm. Check your controls prior to your first flight of the day. |
