NEWSLETTER
These are the
minutes for the December 8, 2005 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought
the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. A motion was made, seconded, and approved
to accept the minutes of the November meeting as read at the December
meeting. Fifteen club members were present at December meeting. The Club
now has 100 members.
Mark Miller reported that we have $3621.31 in
the bank as December 8, 2005. A motion was made, seconded, and approved
to accept the Treasurers report as presented.
OLD BUSINESS:
Club dues are due by December 31st 2005; the dues are $40.00 for the whole
year. The Club has voted in the existing Board Members for another year.
Tom Clark for President, Mark Miller for Treasurer, Bob Davis for Vice
President, Regan Schutte for Secretary, Thomas Beecroft for Editor, &
Wayne Bolin for Safety Coordinator. The Float Fly netted $225.70 after
all the expenses were paid.

Joe Macias brought 8 small Classic Miniature Engines to the Club. A special
.006 Diesel made by Arne Hende. Baby Drone .037 Cubic Inch AH Model Engine
Nostalgia 1/2-size Diesel replica. Made by Arne Hende from 1949-1999 a
half-size precision built replica commutate the 50th anniversary of the
world famous Dooling .61. Made by Arne Hende from 1949-1999 a half-size

.60 McCoy. Fox .59 down to .049 ignitions. Fox .59 down to .075 ignitions.
Hornet .09 & a Yellow Jacket .09. Ignitions. The entire collectable
set of Engines came in a plastic Case.
Float Fly: The day of November 20, 2005 (Sunday)
was a very nice day. The lake was quite a bit higher this year then last
year. Blue sky all day with a temperature of 70 to 78 degrees by noon,
a little wind came across the lake around noon making it possible for
the Pilots to take off straight away from the shore. The wind did die
down quite a bit by 1:00 PM. Flying started at 8:00 AM & Mike St.
Cyr. made the first flight with an Electric E Starter. Flying ceased
at 2:00 PM.
The following prizes were raffle off at the
Float Fly.

#4. Fuel 15%. The first four items were donated by Hobby People.

The Alpine Aero Squadron club donated the rest

A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle
tickets are 6 for $5.00. The following members won items at the raffle.

The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron
will be at 7:30 p.m. January 12, 2006, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation
Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded,
and approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m.
