These are the minutes for the December 10, 2009 meeting. Our President Tom Clark brought the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. A motion was made, seconded and approved to accept the minutes of the November meeting as read at the December meeting. Ten Club members were present at the December meeting. The Club now has 56 members. Mark Miller reported that we have $2261.29 in the bank as of December 10, 2009. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept the Treasurer's report as presented. The following members have been voted in as Broad Members for the Alpine Aero Squadron Club for the year 2010. Tom Clark for President, Mark Miller for Treasurer, Wayne Bolin for Vice President, Tom Beecroft for Secretary / Editor, Tom Porter for Safety Coordinator & Ignacio Barragan for Web Master. If you like me to send you a copy of the By-Laws, just give me a call. Wayne Bolin brought in his high performance Helicopter to the meeting & few it around the meeting Hall. It only weighs one ounce. The price tag is $139.00 without the Transmitter & $39.00 more with the Transmitter. Note: When anyone is flying at the Field, the inner Gate must be closed. The outer Gate should also be closed. The last person leaving the Field will lock both Gates. The speed limit going to & from the Field is 15-Miles Per Hour. No more Welding permitted at the Field. The County has informed the Club that when it rains, the Field will be closed for five days after the rain stops. Note:
A raffle is held at each meeting and the raffle tickets are 6 for $5.00.
The winners are Tom Porter - One Gallon of 15% Power Master Fuel. The next meeting of the Alpine Aero Squadron will be at 7:30 p.m. January 14, 2010, (2nd Thursday) at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1675 Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 P. M. Check your Flight Controls prior to each flight.
